Would It Be India's Biggest IPO?
At about ₹37,700 crore, the issue would be larger than Hyundai Motor India's ₹27,859 crore IPO of 2024, making it the largest Indian IPO by issue size. Note that older IPOs look smaller in dollars today because the rupee has weakened since they listed.
Reading IPO Sizes in Crore
A few conversions that come up constantly in IPO news:

- ₹10,000 crore ≈ $1.05 billion
- ₹1 lakh crore ≈ $10.5 billion
Quick rule: divide the crore figure by the rupee rate (₹95.29 today), then multiply by 10, to get millions of dollars. So ₹37,700 crore is about $3.96 billion.
